With 14 NHL seasons under his belt,?Jay Pandolfo is the definition of a veteran presence. The Bruins will take advantage of that savvy this season, as the team signed the 38-year-old Mass. native to one-year, two-way contract on Tuesday.
Pandolfo, who made his NHL debut with the Devils back in 1996-97, is expected to split time between Boston and Providence this season, providing added depth to the big club and a veteran mentor to the younger P-Bruins players.
See what Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli had to say about the signing of the former Boston University standout in the video above from W.B. Mason Bruins Face-Off LIVE.
